DRUTEX receives the SITPMB Honorary Gold Badge

During the 70th anniversary gala of the Association of Engineers and Technicians of Construction Materials Industry and the ‘Construction Materials’ monthly magazine, DRUTEX was awarded the SITPMB Honorary Gold Badge with a Brilliant, and the president Leszek Gierszewski was awarded a distinction ‘For Merits to the Building Industry’.

The Gala organizers, when awarding the company with the ‘Honorary Gold Badge with a Brilliant’, express their appreciation for its merits to the construction materials industry, the national economy and the Polish technical thought. DRUTEX has been the flagship of Polish sound and strong companies abroad for years. The success that the company achieves in Poland and abroad and its dynamic growth confirm the modernity and competitiveness of Polish companies internationally.

DRUTEX S.A. president and owner, Leszek Gierszewski, has been successfully building the company for more than 30 years, the company that is the leader on Polish window and door woodwork market and is a trendsetter in Europe. The company that produces 7000 windows every day is one of the most recognizable window brands, and as a result of continuous investments in production capacity, technological facilities and modern products, it sells its products all over the world and it executes spectacular investments, like equipping with windows the New York Hilton of a Lego factory in Mexico.

Therefore, the award for special contribution to the development of the window and door sector was given to the president of DRUTEX S.A. Leszek Gierszewski, who received a badge ‘For merits to the building industry’ from the Minister of Infrastructure and Construction. The award is given to people who, through their long-term professional activity and involvement in the executed projects, have contributed to the development of construction and those who have extraordinary achievements and merits in building industry.

The Gala took place on 17 November in the Great Ballroom, the Council Chamber and in the Crown Treasury of the Royal Castle in Warsaw. 

The Gala was conducted under the honorary patronage of Andrzej Duda the President of the Republic of Poland. Ca. 350 people participated in the event, i.a. the representatives of the parliament, infrastructure and construction, science and higher education, the Central Office of Construction Supervision, professional and economic associations, as well as universities and research institutions.
